Has this city gone completely nuts? I feel like I'm in the "Twilight Zone." Huge debate going on about spending 500 million dollars to improve our schools, wouldn't be such a bad thing, if people weren't losing their houses now because they couldn't afford the property taxes. Another huge debate about spending millions? (not sure about cost) to build new baseball stadium downtown when we have a perfectly nice one out north, (when was the last time a Wizards game was sold out??? Or close???? has anyone you know even gone to more than one game??) Now to take the cake, whatever powers that be have decided to spend the thousands of dollars so the Rios guy can have a trial?????????????? Help!!!!! Didn't he already plead guilty to murder?>??? Isn't he in the country illegally???? Lord. Put him away in prison for the murders he has pled guilty too, or send him back to Mexico and let them punish him. It seems that every time you read the paper or listen to the news, there's some new "anal" conflict like this going on. Was our city council the start of all this hoop-la? Or are there bigger problems where our state government is concerned??
